Portrait of June

Habari, I'm June.

I grew up in Kenya with a grandmother who kept her kangas folded like letters, each one with a saying printed along the hem. I still think in those sayings.

This journal is where I slow down. Some stories are about clothes, some are about bodies, and some are about the days when getting dressed is the hardest part. All of them are honest.
